Depending on the item, you have a choice whether you have initials or a name engraved on the item.  Remember that small pieces (like jewelry) may only fit initials while longer items (such as a lipstick holder) can fit a single name.

If you would like only initials engraved on your product use this section.  If you would like a full name please skip to section 2.

"Rules" for initials:  Interlocking fonts are used mainly for females while block fonts are normally used for males.  The last name initial will be the largest and located in the center when using either Round or Interlocking fonts.  Block font initials are in First Name Initial, Middle Name Initial, Last Name Initial order.

Section 2: For Full Name or Fraternity/Sorority Name Engraving (One Name Only -- Normally Last Name)

"Rules" for Names:  Cursive lettering does very well for full names, dates and written text.  The Greek font is best used for fraternity or sorority names only.  Some items (especially smaller jewelry items) cannot support a full name and must be ordered as monogrammed initials (above).
