Step-by-Step Stone Ordering Process

Step 1: Fill Out the Bluestone Order Form

• Call Peggy at (404) 375-9600 to receive personalized service and to order over the phone.
• OR  Click here to pull up our form as a .pdf file that can be either faxed or mailed.  (if you have special artwork this is the best option for you)
• OR  Click here to fill out our form and process your order online.

Step 2: Choose the size stone you would like.

These are natural stones and will come in natural shapes.  No two are exactly alike.

IMPORTANT -- A Few Notes About Choosing the Size of Your Stone:

Small Stones -- generally fit only one piece of artwork and a short phrase or only a longer phrase.  For example, the name and birth/death dates of your pet without artwork or one piece of artwork and the name of your pet.

Medium Stones -- will generally fit one piece of artwork and a small or medium phrase or a long phrase without artwork.  For example, the name and birth/death dates of your pet and artwork or one piece of artwork and a medium phrase or poem.

Large Stones -- will generally fit one piece of artwork and a long phrase or poem.  For example, the name and birth/death dates of your pet and a short phrase with artwork or two pieces of artwork and a short phrase or a short poem without artwork. 

XLarge Stones -- Will fit longer poems but not over a few verses.  Sometimes a poem and/or artwork may be beyond even the size of an extra-large stone.  In that case, we will contact you for special pricing approval before proceeding with your order.

Step 3: Choose any artwork you would like to go onto your personalized stone.

You do NOT have to place any artwork at all on your stone.  But -- if you would like artwork you can pick from our gallery of hundreds of pieces of stock artwork below ---

OR have your stone further personalized by supplying your own line-art or photograph.  You must mail in your order form along with the artwork if you choose this option.  We cannot accept a fax.  Please check the appropriate box on the order form and add a $25 artwork fee.  Note -- It can take up to 12 weeks for custom artwork.  There are no rush options available for custom art pieces.

There is no artwork fee for stock art.  Please indicate the number and description of your desired artwork on the appropriate part of the order form.

Step 4: Clearly print your desired wording.

Remember, what you write is what we'll carve in stone so print legibly and proof yourself so there are no misspellings or wrong dates.  If you need more room you may use a separate sheet of paper.

Step 5: Choose the style font you like.

Choose the style font you want for your wording from the lists below or check the appropriate place on the order form to have us choose for you.  We've been doing this for many years now and are quite good at picking out fonts that are legible and fit the style of the stone.

Step 6: Finish filling out the form.

Please make sure you give us the address where you want the stone to go by filling out the "Shipping Address".  We need your name and address where your credit card statement is mailed.  That will go in the "Billing Address".  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express or you can mail in a money order.  We do NOT accept any out-of-state (meaning Georgia) checks. 

Don't forget to sign the form.

The stones take generally about 3 weeks before they are shipped.  It could be as early as 2 weeks or as late as 4.  You can have your stone shipped out within the week by paying an additional $15 RUSH charge.  If you would like to place a RUSH on your stone, be sure to check the appropriate box.  This rush option is not available for custom artwork pieces.
